Anyone with a persistent mouth sore, lump, or red/white patch that has not healed after two weeks.
If a sore doesn’t heal in two weeks, we may numb the area and take a tiny tissue sample. This is sent to a lab, and we will discuss the results with you as soon as they arrive (typically 7–10 days).
Lab results typically take 7–10 days.
